CELEBRATE YOUR 'HOLI' DAY WITHOUT ANY SKIN PROBLEMS

Some people don't play and enjoy the festival of colours just because they are worried about the after effects on their skin. You don't have to get cautious because this article will help you with some cool and easy skin care tips which will make you get rid of your tension.

1. DON'T USE HARSH SOAPS

When you are all done with playing holi and colours all over your body, it's best if you don't use any harsh chemical based soap on your skin. Soap has alkaline and it can cause more dryness which is not good for your skin. Instead try using cleansing cream or lotion which with sooth your skin.

2. USE ESSENTIAL OILS

If you have sensitive skin, then the best option is to use essential oils. You can opt for tea tree oil for oil / acne prone skin and lavender oil for cuts or rashes on your body.

3. COCONUT OIL CURES EVERYTHING

Ya! It's true. Use coconut oil on your skin to get rid of colours from your body and hair. It's the best alternate way to protect your skin. Rinse your body with the cold water. For hair use can use your regular shampoo and conditioner.

4. THE LAST RINSE

Use lemon juice and add in a glass of water to  use it as your last rinse. This will help you to balance the acid amount that affected your scalp. Beer is also said to be beneficial if you want to soften or condition your hair. Remember to use this way, once you remove colours from your hair.

5. DO  NOT GO FOR ANY SKIN TREATMENTS

You will feel a need to clean up after you played holi. But do not go after the next two to three days after holi for any kind of skin treatments like waxing, threading and any other external treatment. Your skin gets very sensitive  and can react strongly to these treatments.
